General Rules
1. Staff members need to be respected by the players - after all, they help keep the site running. However, staff are also expected to respect the players. They can't show favoritism and they can't be rude to even the most frustrating player.
2. No fighting in OOC or on the Cbox. If you really have to argue, keep it to PMs. Members will be banned immediately, no warnings will be given as you should have read this rule!
3. No inappropriate pictures or links to inappropriate websites or pictures are allowed.
4. Posting in the away board is an important thing. If you are going to be away for a week or more, please make sure to notify staff members by posting in the provided absence board. We don't want to delete you for missing an activity check when you are only temporarily away.
5. Swearing is allowed, but please do not overdo it. A swear word every other word is overkill, and just makes you look trashy.
6. No power-playing or god-modding. Power playing is when you try and take control of another player's character. This can often be done accidentally, so please be careful, especially during fights. God-modding is when you try and make your character seem invincible or perfect in some way. Please do not do either of these.
7. Continuing on power-playing, you may not injure or kill another person's character without that person's permission. Admins are the only ones who are allowed to do this, and only for a very good reason.
8. If you have more the one character, you must have more then one account. One for each character.
9. Display names must reflect what your characters name is that you are joining with.
10. Signatures cannot exceed 500 x 200 pixels.
11. Tables/manips an be as wide as you'd like, as long as it does not stretch the board.
Character Rules
1. You are allowed to have as many characters as you can keep active.
2. This site is a semi-realistic fantasy wolf RPG. What this means is that you must create your wolf within realistic guidelines. You may, though, add on mutations after you join and purchase them.
3. You must follow the character form, though you may add some codes to make it spiffy and pretty. Do not leave ANYTHING blank.
4. You only need to put a RP example for the first biography you make. After your first biography is accepted you no longer have to have an rp example.
5. All members must have a character log. This way all the members can get more information on your wolf and you can stay organized as well. We would like if you kept a link to it in your profile.
6. Character pictures, are a must. And they may NOT stretch the board. If you are a repeat offender of this rule, you will be warned.
7. View the shop for prices on mutations and the such.
8. As you should have read already, the account you are joining with should be the name of your wolf. You may have your login just the first name, but after we would like the full name as your display name.
Posting Rules
1. All in character posts must be at least 100 words long. No exceptions. This is a intermediate to advanced role play site. If you have no muse, listen to a song and try to get it back, or don't post.
2. Please use proper grammar and spelling when posting both IC and OOC. Proboards has this handy little thing called spell-check... If I can't understand what you are typing, that's a clue.Yes, everyone makes mistakes. We're not going to attack you if you spell a few words wrong or misuse a comma here and there. However, if your post is difficult to read because of spelling and grammar mistakes then you may be asked to fix it.
3. Liquid time is allowed on the boards. However, it is up to you to keep things from getting confusing between time and characters.
4. No in-character double posting is allowed. That is why we have a handy little button called Edit. OOC double posting is alright, to bump topics and such, but no more then one double-post per 24 hours.
5. If you intend a thread to be private, please make sure that you state so in the description. If it is unmarked then it is assumed to be open to everyone.
7. While IC you must use third person. No I's or me's. However, when describing your character, you may use first person.
Breeding & Birthing Rules
1. Females must be pregnant for 4-5 threads before giving birth.
2. If you are in a pack, and it's customary to get permission for breeding, then do so.
3. If you wish to graphic breed, please keep it off-board or over PM. Proboards TOS state the board content must be PG-13. Thank you.
Fighting Rules
1. Please contact in Admin when a fight is going to take place. The Admin that is contacted must judge the fight. They will determine the winner. You are based on how good the quality of the post was and grammar, not to mention moves, injuries and such.
2. No character will leave the fight without some injuries, if you have a hard time deciding on injuries, I will decide for you.
3. Fights can go on as long as you want, but introductory posts do not count as the fighting posts.
4. Pack-leaders have a season immunity after they have gained a pack land, or when the site starts.
5. You have a week to respond to a fight, though if you post an absence notice before the fight thread, you will be excused.
6. Again, Proboards TOS state the board content must be PG-13, so lets try and keep the fights not too horrible, but if it gets bad, we will understand.
Art Studio Guidelines
1. An art studio will cost you $1,500.
2. Your art studio will be completely customizable. You will word your description, name it, etc.
3. You must have a list of items you are willing to make for a price. Ask a staff member and we can sticky it for you.
4. Here's the cool part: YOU make up the prices for YOUR art!
5. Last, but definitely not least: You get the money that the purchasing member is commissioning you for. For example, if your avatars are $500, and Billy wants one, you two will agree to the exchange and contact a staff member to subtract the points from Billy and add them to your total.
