Like the rest of the city, the fountains lay in ruin. However the aquaducts feeding the water to the spouts still work, and even though the masonry and artwork is in disrepair the fountains still spew cool, refreshing water on hot summer days. In the winter months the Lunar pack shut it off, but during the warmer days young and old can be seen splashing about in the cool water that collects in the cement pools under the fountains.
